Nagoya Bar: Bar Noise Nagoya
Added In: Eating & Drinking › Drinking › Japanese bars
Address: Bar Noise, Nishiki 2-5-30, B1, Naka ku, Nagoya
In the back streets of Marunouchi in Nagoya is Bar Noise. Contrary to its name, it is a laid back, relaxed counter type bar where the staff are friendly, the prices reasonable and the service excellent.
Opened in 2004, the bar seats around 30, and is popular with the business-men and women from the surrounding Marunouchi offices. This part of Marunouchi was actually the center of the textile trading business for many years, and there is still plenty of such activity in the area.
Drinks I hear you say? Pretty reasonable. Beers from 600 yen, cocktails and spirits from 700 yen, and no cover charge. A fine selection of whiskeys (and the odd whisky) is on hand. Of course food is also available, with bar standards such as pizza and pastas available from 800 yen.
Not the place to go and party hard, but ideal for some relaxation after a hard day in the office.
