The dance opera "Divine Comedy" and the modern ballet "IERUMA" will be performed at the Aichi prefectural art theater, (1-13-2 Higashisakura, Higashi-ku, Nagoya), on Saturday, August 2 at 7pm (Advanced S seat 8000yen, A seat 6000yen, B seat 4000yen, students 2500yen). In advance of this, 200 people who live in the Tokai district are invited to the public performance rehearsal of the "Divine Comedy" from 7pm to 8pm on August 1.

The "Divine Comedy", by Dante in 13th century Italy, is a long epic poem describing his spiritual journey through Hell and Purgatory and on to Paradise. Sakiko Oshima, who is the founder of a top dance company in Japan, unites contemporary dance, opera, and ballet, and she directs this classic work of this Italy literary masterpiece. Naoko Shirakawa, who is a gifted contemporary dancer and three superhuman male dancers will perform.
